During Child Justice Week, Zambia Civic Education Association (ZCEA) Executive Director Nzila Siabalima appeared on Prime TV to discuss two important issues: safeguarding children from abuse and the dangers of social media. As more children spend time online, protecting them requires more than just limiting screen time. Parents, guardians, teachers and communities all have a role to play in helping children stay safe, recognising online dangers and creating environments where every child feels protected, heard and supported. In this important conversation, Nzila Siabalima highlights why child protection matters and why we must take the safety of children both online and offline seriously. Every child deserves to be safe, protected and heard. Let’s work together to build a society where children’s rights are respected and their futures are protected.
