Description
This initiative seeks to strengthen the implementation of Zambia’s Children’s Code Act by empowering civil society organizations, communities, government institutions and children to work together in protecting and promoting children’s rights. The project promotes inclusive participation, accountability and coordinated action to ensure that every child can understand, claim and enjoy their rights.
Project Objective
The project establishes child participation structures, strengthens community organizations, supports child-friendly governance and promotes collaboration between statutory and customary child protection systems.
Project Implementation and Sites
The Project is Implemented in Six districts namely:
- Kabwe
- Chibombo
- Solwezi
- Kalumbila
- Choma
- Sinazongwe
