Description
“The Participation First” project promotes meaningful child participation by equipping children with the knowledge, confidence and platforms needed to engage in governance and social accountability processes. The project enables children to monitor the realization of their rights, participate in budgeting and planning processes, and contribute to national and international child rights reporting mechanisms.
Working alongside government institutions, schools and communities, ZCEA strengthens child-led structures and builds the capacity of duty bearers to ensure children’s voices are heard and acted upon.
